Well my cleaning lasted about 10 000kms and now it's back on.
I'm gona try and call the dealer to see if something can be done! But at 182000kms I'm not holding my breath.

So what I did is put some spray oven cleaner in a small bowl and added distilled water. soaked it in the solution then pulled it out and lightly torched it and put back in the solution. Repeated that a bunch of times all while letting it soak a few minutes in between. Then did the same thing...
Ok so I have the same thing happen to me. The only thing I haven't found is the location of the sensor itself. Can someone elaborate on that.
I'm gonna try the oven cleaner/distilled water combo before spending some $$$. I've also written VW.ca to see if there is anything they can do about it...
So I'm looking at a new set of rims and thinking of how much I could get for mine.
Rims are in mint condition, no curbage just a small chip the size of a grain of rice.
Would someone be interested in $800.
Note not my car, I will post actual photos of rims shortly.
so by luck I noticed a big paint bubble on the trunk yesterday on my 2012 passat.
Is this under warranty or no since it hasn't come completely through yet??
