Anyone seen any numbers re number of TDI owners taking the buyback? Last I saw, awhile ago, about 44% of elible owners had indicated interest. I'm thinking that if the 85% number is not reached the pot could eventually be sweetened thereby delaying resolution in both the US and Canada.

Surprised to learn that the inner 2 inches of all my tires are bald, the rest of the tire not bad. 60,000 km or about 40,000 miles on the odo. TDI Jetta purchased new in 13. Word of warning, have an eye for this. Does any manufacturer align their vehicles prior to sale any more? Or do you need...

Despite that fact that in many ways Canada moved to harmonize emissions regulation with the EPA/US, in one important area we did not harmonize. It was pointed out in another thread that Canada currently remains at Tier 2 (Tier 3 2017) emissions standards while the US is Tier 4. Background...

I'm guessing that the Canadian legal system does not instill the same level of fear in VW that the US system does and there will be no Canuck compensation program. Anyone hear any juicy rumours to the contrary?

Thinking about the possibility of a road trip to Baja in our 2013 TDI Jetta. If I do a DPF delete will the car run ok on low sulphur diesel? Unfortunately Baja does not yet have ULSD available throughout the entire peninsula and it sounds like it'll be awhile. Thanks for any replies. :)
