Finished removing the exhaust manifold. Found a torx t-30 bit, replacing those with the none torx option when reinstalling. The turbo actuator still had water that would drip out of it.

Yeah, 3/8 to 1/2. Both studs on the exhaust heat shield backed out rather than the nuts coming off, same for the opposite side holding the turbo oil feed line. Was also able to loosen 3 of the 4 nuts on the bottom of the exhaust manifold, could get the right angle on the one behind the oil feed...

Copart called me not even 10 minutes after I left the shop to arrange pickup. I assume copart is giving them the same $1100 they would give me. The payout is a little below $14000.

To buy it from the insurance company would cost $5000, which is way more than i expected. Copart's automated appraisal is only offering $1100.
