Bummer that Kim can't ship. I suppose you could ship the whole car out and come visit for a while, but...that would be ridiculously expensive. Surely there has to be a transmission rebuilder someplace closer to you? Maybe post in a different thread looking for transmission shop recommendations...

Brian, is there anyone near you who can rebuild transmissions? I had my 01 auto transmission rebuilt 6-ish yrs ago. Not cheap, but no problems since.

No, not leaking. Inside is rusted out, metal parts are pitted. Seized up. I know about resealing, wish that was my only issue!
