    2016 Chevrolet Colorado Diesel

If Toyota brought the Hilux diesel over (which is sold almost everywhere but North America) the Canyon/Colorado wouldn't stand a chance.

    2016 Chevrolet Colorado Diesel

We can hope that perhaps Toyota, Misubushi and Izuzu will bring their diesel pickups over. They've all been making them for years but just not allowing those in North America to buy them.

Worst weather on the whole trip yesterday in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Snowing like crazy and not a snow plow or sand truck in sight and I-5 blocked by accidents both ways. The Jetta did great getting around and through town to bypass the accidents. Now we are in rainy Northern...

2005 Jetta Sportwagen TDI auto vs 2001 Golf TDI 5spd

If it is aftermarket, it is an EXCELLENT match to stock in every way. I've seen aftermarket stuff and you can almost always tell from 5 feet away. These look stock even up close.

2005 Jetta Sportwagen TDI auto vs 2001 Golf TDI 5spd

That is interesting because when you look at these "extra" badges, the shape, form and size are an EXACT match to the factory badges. Did Europe get some special edition that might have had these badges? They are way too the same to be from another make.

2005 Jetta Sportwagen TDI auto vs 2001 Golf TDI 5spd

Obviously badging doesn't make a car something special but what exactly makes a "Sportwagon" a "Sportwagon"? Is it suspension, trim, tires? Just curious because the badging on my car doesn't look "add-on" to me.
