those towing numbers aren't right. That 1.3 tons is for payload. According to NYT the towing capacity will beat the dodge dakota and other mid-sized pick-ups. I think I read it was 5k-7k lbs. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/28/automobiles/28MAHIND.html

I would get a gasser if you want a subaru. the latest i heard was that subaru was introducing the diesel to the Japanese market (one of the least friendly diesel markets in the world) next and we would see a diesel in the next 5-10 years. BS.

As far as I understand they won't be adding all the luxury items. From my reading is that it will have basic stuff to make the truck comfortable and that's about it.

2 weeks is all the patience I have when dealing with dealers or trying to sell it myself. It's not worth the time to me after that.

maybe there, not here. No bites and no one was interested in the car. Every place I went told me the same story. Wholesale/auction is 6k-8k, retail is around $14-15k. 5 dealers and carmax told me the samething.
