Yes I have a Q5 3.0L V6 TDI. I will mesure the inside of the turbo and of the inlet of the turbo! I thought the intercooler on the Q5 is large enough!

I'll do that first, It is always good to know how accurate the gauge is. But one thing , I just change the gauge (new south) and it gives a similar temp then my older gauge. But will do the test. Thanks

oil temp My temp. sensor is installed at the oil pan drain bolt. I was always getting a max of 220F when I had my vnt 17. Since I upgraded, I'm getting around 240 to 260 in the winter and around 300 in the summer. What could be the cause???

With this transmission EFF, not fast ( too long ratio), but with the 5 speed from the TT, would not be suprise that it would be a 12sec. car!!! For the pics, I should get them soon!
