    Fault code question

2001 Jetta TDI 104k miles. My check engine light came on so I checked it with my Vag-Com. Fault codes are: 16764 - Glow Plug/Heater Circuit, Malfunction 35-10---Intermittent. Anyone had this problem or know proper testing procedure for checking them, Thanks

I did it....800.2 miles on one tank!

I know to some this is no big deal, but I have never had the patience to drive the car easy for that long. The low fuel light came on at 745 miles, by 780 it was pegged on empty. I got to my station at 799, so I had to go 1/2 mile down the road and turn around. I filled it to the neck as you...

    Dove a new PD100 today

2004 Black Golf. The first thing I noticed was the engine is a little quieter than mine, and the throttle response is more linear than mine with the Upsolute. Power was closer than I thought it would be, from 1500 to 2400 it felt about the same as mine, above 2400 mine had a little more power...

    Took a ride in Gary's NB today....Sprayin'

Took a ride in Gary\'s NB today....Sprayin\' Now I know what NoS feels like in a TDI. Gary's car was quick before, but with a shot of laughing gas it feels like a big block under the hood! I'm talking about serious torque, it really pushes you back in the seat. No need to look at the speedo...

    Question about timing

I'm getting ready to change my belt and thought I'd ck. my timing before I started. In basic settings blocks 2&9, it reads 44/133. This doesn't make sense to me because the last time I checked it I thought it was 70/110. The last time I checked was about 20k ago. The strange part to me is power...

In 5th. it will slip if I'm in the range of 1900 and 2500RPM's. The strange part is I've NEVER noticed any clutch slippage untill today. I'm gonna nurse it as...
