Motor came out of a Canadian 2005 TDI with Auto and has been mated to a 5 speed and swapped out. The shop has done a few swaps and is well rated. My big issue is the BSM upgrade, with the manual tranny is the upgrade still needed or no?

any one tried modification to TDI motor either total removal of turbo or dropping boost to less than 5psi?? I'm looking for reliabillity My Jetta standard deisel has 700,000 KLM on original motor. whats the expected span on a tdi before turbo failure/motor replacement
