The amber tinted bulb in my 2004 Jetta is out, drivers side rear. It is the middle bulb. I replaced it but it still will not work however all of the other ones work fine. Any suggestions as to what it may be?
jettawreck, actually after the dealer replaced the thermostat the light went off. I have driven about 300 miles so far and it has yet to come back on. I'll wait and see before I replace the MAF. The car runs great. (knock on wood)
Looks like I need to replace the MAF. I had heard this was easy but does anyone know where I can find instructions on how to do this? I also had the dealer replace the thermostat today because the CEL came on for low engine temp and airflow. Thanks for everyone's help with this !!!

I have a question with venting. I have a 2004 Jetta and noticed that there is a tiny switch type nob about 3 or 4 inches down in the filler neck. If I push on it I can hear gases escaping and actually continue to add fuel. Would this be venting? I hope this isn't confusing
