Thanks, everyone. The oil is Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel 5W-40, so that should be fine. The TDI battery is a few years old, so it's likely just showing age. The 944 has updgraded headlights that use 80W/90W bulbs, upgraded wiring, and alternator. (Look up 'light cannons' on Rennlist for details.)...
