Dealers are in the dark too I contacted my local (Audi) dealer and asked if I could use my A3 TDI and the buyback dollars as a "trade in" towards a new Audi. This would reduce my sales tax by ~ $2000 on the purchase of a new car. They told me that I was the "first one" to ask this question...
