FS: 2003 Golf 4dr GLS PNW

Bump. I've having the car serviced by Cunningham Tuning in Bellingham later this week. They will be putting a new valve cover on to stop that leak and replacing the a/c clutch (A/C blows cold but clutch is making some noise). Would love for this to go to a good home. Available to show the...

AC and heat work just fine. Still getting excellent mileage. Thought of a few other things; New Bosch MAF last week. Front and rear brakes around 290k. New vaçuum lines. I'll work on pictures, but I need to get the car washed. Here is a picture of the engine bay that I just took.

Unfortunately, I need to sell my Golf due to immigration/covid reasons. I've put quite a bit of work into it after buying it from the original owner here on TDIclub two years ago. I had planned to keep it for quite some time. Here is the previous for sale thread when I bought it...

    2002 Jetta End of Life?

Hard one, but it sounds like your engine has been having major issues for a while if you have been down to 26mpg. Used injection pumps are not very expensive, but if you don't have the know how to install one...

Looking to rent/borrow a timing belt removal kit and VCDS for my ALH Jetta in the Vancouver, Canada area

Oliver, VM Autohaus does tool rentals including timing belt rentals. I would also recommending getting your parts from there. Kristian is pretty competitive on pricing and a great resource. I'm out of town next week, but I do have the tools and VCDS. Calvin

Well, KermaTDI seems to have closed up (but, not really). now what?

I have never had that great of an opinion of Kerma personally. I'd much rather support vendors that haven't had suspect dealings in the past. For OEM both IDParts and CascadeGerman have been honest and easy to deal with. There are actually a couple vendors of performance parts up here in...

    Turbo Replacement Grocery List Needed

I would agree with Mongler. It's not too hard to test your actuator and N75 operation. I had overboosting on my ALH that was fixed after I diagnosed a bad turbo actuator. It's also pretty easy to test the vane operation and then pull the downpipe to clean with oven cleaner if you are...

Hope he's ok too. I wouldn't call him the best communicator, but he has always been honest and reliable when I needed him. Maybe someone local can stop by his shop and check in for you?
