15w40 rotella t6 in 2015 jetta tdi no dpf

That was a copy/paste of an internet joke. Sorry it went over your head. The point was, why give a ridiculously absurd reply to the OP about his oil consumption "issue" that works out to adding one quart every 4 months for the average driver?

15w40 rotella t6 in 2015 jetta tdi no dpf

"Are you aware that there are people in this world that have a severe medical condition which causes them to be that way? My mother for instance is one of those people. She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck but you probably do not care about that case...

High quality oil for high horsepower application

False. The only reason you need a lot of viscosity is if you can't control the heat. It's going to be nearly impossible for a car driven on the street, even a modified one, to get oil temp high enough to matter. Keep a synthetic oil under 300F and you have nothing to worry about. I've...

Front Seats recline and heat 2014 JSW tdi

There's likely corrosion on the connector for the seats. It's under the plastic trim piece that covers the drivers door sill. Common issue.

    A3 2.0 CR170 project

The turbo isn't supposed to go in/out the tunnel. If you unbolt the passenger side axle from the transmission flange and hold the axle up and forward against the block, the turbo will drop right out the bottom between the back of the block and the subframe.

High quality oil for high horsepower application

The thing about racing oil is, it usually doesn't have anywhere near the detergents that normal oil has, because in a racing application it's typically getting changed very frequently. If you want the best, I'd run Redline. Or Kendall. That's from a person who's running a 3 generation old...

2015 Jetta DSG, what RPM at 70mph?

If you have a 2015 Jetta with a DSG, could you respond with an exact engine rpm at 70mph? Trying to determine gear ratios of some different transmissions.

2009 TDI Jetta 6 Speed Stick purchase..

T6 will treat your CR just fine! Shell may not have paid the money to get it tested against VW's spec (0.02% less ash) but it's fully compatible with all current emissions systems as certified by API.

Something keeps BEW O2 sensor tripping codes...???

You need a "dog collar bracket" for the intake hose if you don't already have one. I've seen that cause O2 rich faults.

Who makes Group 4 507 Spec oils, 0W-30 or 5w-30 oil?

Hmm. Unless you are running the original waterpump, which is normally replaced at each timing belt interval, your cooling system has been drained 4 times. That's assuming you are still running the original short block anyway, could be more than 4 times.

New to me 2012 TDI - With transmission oddities. Whats going on?

Sounds normal on all accounts. Your '08 with the 2.5 doesn't have a DSG either, so not really applicable to compare.
