I'd imagine the glove box needs to be closed to make the airflow connection, but as others have stated it's not much of an effect.

I may be mistaken, but I think this is the first CR/DSG with confirmed DMF failure here.

It's not necessary, but is fairly easy to remove and ensures that any sediment along with any water that may be present is removed completely.

The 6's exterior to me looks a lot like my '10 Volvo S80, but with the diesel.
