regarding @dholli situation. Isn't a failed CP3 not supposed to contaminate the high pressure side? My understanding was CP3 was is more reliable and most importantly easier to recover from failure. Hope i didn't pickup some bad info along the way. (dholli sorry for the bad luck)

edit: it's not forcing readiness but a script to step through the required tests to complete readiness, and it can be done without driving. You can do gassers in VCDS but just not an option for newer TDIs (same for dealer), it's really a pain.

Hopefully the dealership is smart enough to fix it the first time back, pretty sure they need to pull the injectors to replace the hold down plate seals, so that should fix the issue if they do it properly. Those seals don't look terrible so i'm suspicious of extra pressure pushing oil through them.
