I would say you got a wednesday car myself. I average 42-45mpgs depending on how i drive with about 70% highway. I did achieve 63.6mpgs today over a 150mile stretch with a 15mph tail wind! =)

I traveled a 300 mile trip today. Car 4 deep against wind at 55mph i got 51mph over 150 mile trip. Trip returning home south with 15 mph tail wind and one less passenger, 63.6mpg at 55mph.

I agree on the shell. I can average 2mpgs-3mpgs more on shell diesel.

Yes. Buddy of mine with a Cummins see's a 2-3mpg difference. I saw no fuel difference, but I am still learning how to drive for max fuel economy. I went from 37mpg first tank, 39mpg second tank, and 41mpg third tank. So I am seeing improvements. All that matters to me.:)

I only drive 95miles round trip a day, but i spend 3-4hours in Houston traffic. So my TDI spends about 18 hours a week with me =). Love the car and even in Houston Traffic my combined is 41-42mpgs. Car is fabulous.

I second that. Only 3 fill ups so far but computer is only .100's off of calculation from same gas station. I can average 51mpg in mornings ( 5am ) and 44mpg in afternoons (5pm) in Houston traffic. My combined with city driving is 42mpg and thats with only 1500miles on car so far. Very excited...

My New 2010 Is amazing I love it. Put 1000 miles on it already. Very nice inside and out. Only option I didnt get was nav/dvd, since i would never use it. I am going to wait till about 5000-7000 miles before I put a tune on it. Best car I have ever bought. MPG pays for the vehicle, its a no brainer.
