Wouldn't you have a problem with this set up as well? Cruise not canceling when hitting brakes? I would think they would need to be in series (vs parallel). if you try to tie it in with the brake cruise-cancel switch.

It might help to describe in better detail what's going on when you feel the shake. Is the car stopped at idle or is the car moving? etc
