2009 p2015 fixed
I had the same P2015 error and after cycling it a bunch with VCDS, it was the worn linkage as well motor works fine. I ended up flipping the linkage over, pushing it more towards the motor side. The binding is gone, cleared the code and all seems fine. Will see if this has any...
Guess I just figured that if it was to fix things that were coded incorrectly in the first place it should be free. Now if I got extras with it maybe then I could see the charge...
So took the 2009 JSW in for the fuel line dampers and ECM update, first time the car has been to the dealer since day one, and they want $112 for the ECM update? They say that it has too many miles 80k to do it free. Anyway I decline the update.
I thought over $100 was too much for teh GPS...
I have a 2009 JSW with 80k on it and AC has been delayed for over 1 year, it now never really gets cold. So recently I was in Vegas it was hot and I was getting pissed so I opened the hood smacked the **** out of the compressor and valve with a wrench. Guess what ice cold AC...for a few days...
I am having the same issue on a 2009 JSW with 70k miles, will check the fans tonight. Not sure what else I can do without any AC equipment, but it seems to me the pressure must be correct if the AC works just fine 'sometimes'. Would anything show in the vagcom?
So Sirius/XM likes to switch stations around but the RNS 510 does not refresh the station names it displays...is there someway to do this manually? They just switched my Jam on station to Pearl Jam radio, I like Pearl Jam but not that much, so now I found Jam on station 81 but it says...
Well if they are automatic then mine do not work for crap. The fluid was liquid in the reservoir since coming down the mountain at about 35 they starting working again. It was not even that cold out either, I will still replace the fluid though. Are you guys sure you do not have to turn them...
I have the heated seats and side mirrors which I thought meant I had heated washer nozzles too. Either they don't work or they don't exist....I thought I had a cold weather wash in there too, but I will drain and fill with some new for this weekends trip up the mountains.
Tires were great there was about 3" of fresh snow on Sunday morning, the tires are like night and day on the snow. I left Breckenridge early too and drove to a couple of the Nordic centers which were very snowy The TPMS light went on so I will have to disable that. Now the only issue I have...
Got my General Altimax Arctic's on 16" steel rims Thursday, put them on tonight and heading up to Breckenridge tomorrow morning. Drove around the block and the TPMS light is still not on. I assume it will come on soon, I guess I can disable it via vag-com, correct?
Thanks everyone, SummiTDI was the nail in the coffin...just ordered the black wheels and General Altimax Arctic's. I liked to hear that folks were getting a few miles out of the GAA, will let you know soon I will be up skiing in the next few weeks.
This was not a rattle at all since I heard it when parked in the garage and the key out of the car. Has not happened since, was just really weird...I am sure it will happen again at some point.
If I do Blizzak's can I expect at least 15K out of them or about two winters? I know it depends, but basically lets say trips to the mts each weekend and around town during the weekdays. Dec - March. I am not sure I like the idea of an all season tire that is rated for snow too, I think it...
I just moved from IL out to CO (Boulder) last month, I plan to ski Alpine and x-country most weekends in the mts. My 2009 JSW is at 52k and needs new tires the stock tires in the rain are poor and last winter were terrible. But I am still on the fence about getting steel rims and dedicated snow...
No it is not related to interference though it sounds similar just a lot louder. It happened to my wife a few months ago and me this week. Since then we have moved from IL to CO so I think it is something with the stereo.
I shut off the car opened the doors closed them pulled the key out and...
So a month ago my wife said the JSW was making some crazy noise from the speakers, even after the car was turned off. I told her she was crazy, just happened to me today loud buzzing noise coming from both rear door speakers....and sure enough does not stop when the car is turned off. I have...
Here are a few pictures of the cold side intercooler hose and what was inside of mine when I checked last weekend. It was not really water, but more of a black goo. Seemed like water was part of the mix though, about 2 good tablespoons. I drained and cleaned the hose out the best I could.
I...
