What the service guy is saying is that it is covered but only from failure as in cracked. Otherwise if it's just full it's a serviceable item and will need to be replaced.
Looking at getting back in the TDI game. The 2015's are cheap and I miss mine. The warranty looks great as well. Here is the question. I talked to the service dept. at my dealership and they claim the DPF won't be covered under the new warranty? How is that possible? They may clog up way...
Offer letter came in yesterday morning. notarized and faxed back within 1 hour. Took less than 5 minutes to get approved and scheduled my appointment for Feb 15th. Finally.
Pressure is good. I am assuming the wheel diameter is throwing off the ABS sensors causing the light as the sizes on the cars are now not stock. The light will not reset with the button.
I am planning on selling both back but the light does bug me and wanted to make sure I wouldn't hurt...

Can't wait to hear good news about your buyback.
FYI all, I just got my buy back offer for car bought 3-1-2016. It's 78% restitution. Still better than the 50% I though I would get a few months ago.

I am curious who is the...
Been waiting for this myself. Have a friend that scheduled one bought 6/20/16 that got offer for 100% and has a buyback scheduled for this month.
Still waiting on my offers and someone to confirm post scandal buyback.
I would be fine with driving my car for a while and turning in sometime next year, but every 2-3 months I keep it I drop a mileage bracket because like most TDI drivers I drive way more then 1200 miles a month. Now, with that being said if I was like so many others with high mileage cars...
Damn. Someone with a base model Golf could have a field day with swapping from mine. 2011 Golf TDI with Xenon Adaptive's, ever elusive Dina Audio system and year old upgraded Koni suspension and springs all the way around and rolling on new tires.
