The way that I look at it is I'm the seller and VW is the buyer. I've never paid taxes to sell a car before. So I can't see how they would be able to tax us on this?

Replaced this thing... I have a 2013 which isn't officially included in the recall of the part. And all of my local dealers are weeks out on service appointments. It wasn't worth the time or hassle. So I said screw it and just bought my own.

Do you know what kind of coding was done to make these work on your TDI? I have a 2013 TDI with the same lights and adapters ( unsure of model numbers ) and I need to figure out how to code them. When I installed them and turn the headlights on all of the brake lights come on automatically...
