Also if this helps. I can sometimes push the lever way past the normally relaxed position like the clutch had returned on it's own. Then the next time it will stop in the normal looking spot
Ok a buddy has a 97 golf 5spd. You push clutch pedal down and it stays on the floor and never disengages the clutch. I can see the cable pulling on the lever on outside of trans.
Ideas?
man I stumbled on this thread and thought hmm wonder if I have done this.
well turns out I have. I done a back to back. and it was almost a back-back-back lol. the last one was a 59.48mpg.
car was stock at the time. besides a cat-delete and a muffler delete. average speed was 50-55mph. and...
with my 5x8 utility trailer that has the flip up rear gate doing 75-80mph I got 29-31mpg. towing my 15ft john boat I get 34-36mpg doing 75-80mph.
this is with my 2003 wagon 5 spd.
in my sedan it was like 46 I think.
in my wagon it was yesterday pulling my 5x8 utility trailer with flip up gate. that dang gate is a wind sock lol. doing 75-85 off and on coming back from FL it got 30mpg.
Ah thats not alot lol. I put 30plus on my sedan and on my wagon. Now thats two ppl driving of course.
Now if you had said 45plus i would think is alot lol.
