    If you're looking for a show car look elsewhere, but if you're looking for a car that has been a dependable 48mpg car for 7 years and 120k miles and has been maintained mechanically, maybe this is the one. Pros 2 owner car that has never let me sit and has been a very reliable DD for 7 years...

    It started about 2 years ago. When it first happened, I thought I broke the timing belt. The engine sounded like it was turning over faster then normal when I turned the key and cranked it. It always eventually started, you needed to "catch" it right after you turned the key on the first crank...

    I had my car checked for an oil leak at a local garage yesterday and after it was fixed, 1 quart of non synthetic oil was added to top it off. Do I need to change the oil? 2003 ALH Jetta. Thanks in advance, Keith

    He's changed timing belts, rebuilt top ends, glow plugs and harnesses, I'd recommend them for anything TDI related. The only other one I could recommend is Roberts Automotive in Mountville although they're a little pricier. http://www.roberts-automotive.com I think Roberts is on the TDI guru...
