    OK, another stupid newb question. When you say "ALH", do you mean that engine code specifically, or just any vp37 fuelled 1.9 TDI? i.e.: 1Z, AHU, AGR, AHH, ALE,AFN, AHF, ASV, AVB, AVG, etc, etc? And if it is just the ALH, is there a document or site somewhere that details the differences...

    So, does anyone have any experience with the 5 cylinder diesels? It looks like the "AXG" and "AHY" are the 2.5l versions of the ALH, pretty much. Presumably all the tricks that can be applied to the ALH could be applied to one of those, and net you another 25% bump in power and torque?

    Sweet. :D That's basically the car I wish VW made, stock. AWD, lifted, manual transmissioned, TDI wagon. Love it. :D Come to think of it, buying an Allroad, and stuffing a TDI engine in it is probably easier than lifting and 4-motioning the JSW I currently have. Hrm...
