My 2001 TDI Beetle has an issue shifting into 1st Gear smoothly. It seam like 1st & 2nd are really close to each other and the linkage just seams to lock up. I've had all of the Plastic Bushing Kits installed and a Short Throw Kit put in. I also changed the Fluid to AMSOIL. I have 179,000 miles...

I have a 2001 new beetle TDI with 179,000 miles on it. I purchased it from my uncle. It basically has a tune on it with larger injectors and I have put $11,000 into it. Still learning the TDI, and looking for any help that I can get.
