So my wife has a 2013 Passat, the first time she went to fuel up she came to me and said she didn't know what was going on and that the tank was locked. I took her car to the gas station and was a little dumbfounded myself. Then tried the Truck Nozzle... and of course everything panned out...

Just out of curiosity what all do you expect them to do? They do say in the letter it being a gesture as a "first step". I would expect after all of this that they aren't going to flop and say, well that resolves the issue!

I have a very hard time wrapping my head around the fact that people think it is "manly" to drive a manual. It seems to me these people had a hard time picking it up or something, it's a pretty simple thing to do. Or do you have to compensate for the other stick in your life? lol

Would you rather have the potential for replacing broken parts? Or get tied into a monthly payment/large sum of money to purchase a new(er) vehicle? Only you can make that call..
