I have some TDI vehicles where the claims were rejected by VW as “ineligible”. I should note that some of these rejected claims had valid buyback offers at one point. Does this mean that these vehicles are no longer a part of the class action, and I can pursue separate legal action?
You're right, here it is. It seems this is why salvage title vehicles cannot be excluded from the US settlement.

Great summary. Glad you'd also noticed the slight differences in the US 3.0L and the Canadian versions. I've wondered why VW didn't try to change their US 3.0L settlement also to an "or". Is it possible that the EPA/CARB/FTC denied the request?
I may just do that. Half of our claims have been rejected so I believe it's fair game to pursue other legal paths. I may just give Melkersen a call unless there's a better option
