My Half Baked 2006 Jetta TDI

Nice progress on the Jetta. Out of interest what engine code do you have there. Did it come with much service history eg. Cambelt and water pump. And when? As this may be worth checking visually as a precaution. Unless you know it’s recently been changed.

5 speed manual code JCR what others will work.

But I don’t think cruise control will work and you may have an engine light on as the ecu was designed for the jcr...

I changed the dmf and clutch on my wife’s mk5 golf manual I got a sachs dmf and clutch kit with 2 litres of gearbox oil in uk motor factors for £300 then spent about 6 hours fitting it myself. but my local garage quoted me £1100 to supply and fit. Glad I did it myself.
