Bruce, so sorry to hear about your health issues. I have not been on the forum in quite sometime and just saw this thread. Thoughts and prayers for you.
I need to replace the driver's side CV axle on a 2004 NB w/DSG transmission. I can get one from a dealer for $612 or from World Impex for $712. Auto Zone, Advanced, etc either cannot get one or the one's they have do not fit.
Does anyone know the VW parts number for this? Does anyone have any...
Here is a link as to why you should have a TDI Guru take a look at your car now...pay a little now or pay a LOT later:D

I had mine changed at 89,000 miles. This was really early but my work schedule was getting crazy and this was the only free time I had before we went on vacation. I would have been at 93,000 when the family, wife and two kids, would have been heading out on a six hour drive...not a time I...
I finally made it over 700 miles on a tank. I was at 708 miles and put in 14.something... forgot the exact number. I did check the MPG and I was at 48 MPG. Not bad for several WOT runs and a few of those at 90.
The car is a 04 NB with a DSG tranny.
I have a 95 Camry and I have had the TB break twice. Both times it broke, it was being driven by my wife. They both broke before the time it was due for a change.
The first time it broke I was on a business trip out of town. She was on her way home from work but she was still in town so I had...
I had Bruce (paramedick) change the TB and change the DSG fluid and filter on my 04 PD NB. He and his son Kevin did a great job. It was a good day of TDI fun...well fun for me. Bruce and Kevin did all the work while I say on my arse!
I had my timing belt changed and DSG tranny maintenance performed today by Paramedick aka Bruce and his son Kevin on my 04 PD NB. The price was right, the work was excellent, the conversation was fantastic, and the Beetle’s performance is better than ever.
I learned that the TB is probably...
TB Change by Paramedick
I highly recommend Paramedick to anyone that needs work performed on their TDI!
He changed the TB on my 04 PD NB as well as the DSG maintenance. The car is running like a top!
After having my TB changed and the 40,000 mile maintenance performed on my DSG transmission by Paramedick, I highly recommend him to everyone that needs work done on their TDI.
Well at least the dealer thinks that the new ones are better...if we go by price.
02E-305-051-B is $50.42 (old part number)
02E-305-051-C is $72.61 (new part number)
Oops, it helps if you take the time to read the box. I have a revision C filter.
02E-305-051-B is the old part number
02E-305-051-C is the new part number
Here are some images of the new filter...I guess this one works better or is it cheaper to make?
