Thank you. I will give that a try. If there’s no flow and the wp and reservoir are new, what could it be? When I removed the tstat there was no coolant behind it. There was coolant in the hose though.

Yes. I took it into an independent shop who “specializes “ in vw’s. He replaced a few things and it still got hot on the way home. I called him bc I was upset and he refused to work on it again. I’m trying to cut my losses bc I bought a truck.

The water pump was replaced 40 miles ago. I removed all the “extras “ that I had on it. I use the pump now to transfer fuel I carry around in 15 gallon jugs. I’ll be using it as soon as I go on my next camping trip. I’ll carry 2 jugs because fuel is expensive in the desert. BTW: I’m not getting...

If it’s not flowing then what would it be? How do I check that. When it’s up to temp the reservoir is stagnant.
