    Airbag Control Module Defective

I did send the module to the crash data folks in the UK. Reinstalled and she worked flawlessly. Cannot speak to longevity because I no longer own the car.

    DPF/EGR delete worth it?

Really regretting not going with the buy back. Prior to Dieselgate...it ran perfectly...dieselgate fix was back in August of '18 and VW has replaced that damn DPF 3 times and the EGR twice. Out of extended warranty now and getting the damn P2002 code again. I truly miss my '98 1.9 TDI...timing...

    DPF/EGR delete worth it?

With diesel hovering around $4/gallon and steadily rising every day...I've been wondering if mpg will shoot up with a DPF/EGR delete on a '12 2.0 TDI w/DSG? If you've done it with a Malone tune, was it worth it? I'm looking merely at MPG boost...not going faster. Thanks in advance.

15 Jetta dash like Christmas tree

My 2012 started doing this exact same thing. Performed VCDS auto scan and have multiple control modules with communication failures. My assumption is wiring breakdown at ABS module since some moron decided to put it right next to exhaust manifold. I dare not try to unplug it as I’m sure it would...

Thinking this may be worth the approximate $50 US... https://www.crashdata.co.uk/VW-6q0-909-605-e-airbag-module-repair-p/3852.htm Worse case I'm out $50. Car has never been wrecked....just forgot to fully untwist the battery disconnect during the winter...

    Timing chain or belt?

You have straight cut gears, they are gonna be noisy. Ever owned a old air cooled VW? You never heard their gears, because they weren't straight cut.

    Timing chain or belt?

Agree w/5Gear...never perosnally seen/heard of a broken tc. It would be nice if VW could find a way to go back to the gear driven valve train, but that would mean no tb service...all about the comeback IMO.

Replacing suspension, what parts should I buy?

I just installed Blauparts complete kit on my A3 Jetta, all 4 struts, mounts, bearings, bump stops, hardware, and dust covers...$219.00. So far, VERY Impressed! Grant it, all 4 struts were shot...none would gas back after compressed...300K+ miles will do that. I opted not to use the bolts on the...

    Whats my jetta worth?

I'd ask $7000 OBO, screw the KBB & NADA guides...I was offered $6K for my '98 by a total stranger while fueling up...of course he was driving a thirsty SUV. You gotta remember, folk can't get into a new TDI for under $25K!

Bought a Caddy diesel, now what?

An '81 with only 138K...gotta have a broke/replaced speedo...otherwise it's an unbelievable find. You shouldn't have to drain the tank, diesel has a loooooooooong shelf life. LOOK AND GRAB THE TIMING BELT & PULLEYS, THIS IS A MUST! If any cracks or dry rotting DO NOT START IT! Dry rotted Tbelts...
