Serviced? I can't provide any solution, but I must ask the obvious question. Has the transmission been serviced at recommended 40K mile intervals? If not, maybe a service might help.

Back When!!!! I know I'm getting old (almost 71) because I can remember when if you went 1000 miles and did not have to add at least a quart you were doing great. Times and engine technology have really changed since the 1950's-60's.

10K miles OR one year All scheduled service items are at 10K mile intervals OR one year. Technically, your DSG will be due for service at four years even though you have not gone 40K miles. The JSW I recently sold had only 52K miles. My DSG had service at 28K miles when it was four years old.

Easy I've had OEM Euro Aspherical Mirrors on my 09 since new. I took a bathroom suction towel hanger from a bath mirror and stuck it to the mirror glass. Pulled straight out and out came the glass. Very easy.

Tire Web site says--- Checked a couple of sites and they said if they only have "outside" and "inside" markings and no arrows it means that they should be mounted with outside marked side on the outside of the rim.
