Want to slightly lift my mk6 DSG sportwagen. I only want 1" of lift, to avoid messing with the axle joints (i had a ton of axle problems with my 8" lifted auto golf mk4 😬). I know people are using koni yellow strut/shock and tiguan springs, but that seems a tad too tall for me. I am thinking...

I have mk5 top hat, a 1.5in spacer on top of strut, and normal tiguan springs. So maybe 3-4in of lift. I really didn't think that was enough to make my nice new (expensive!) oem axles self destruct within 20k miles.....

There is no shudder when revving while stationary.

mk4 bew auto with 200k miles Symptoms: -shuddering, shaking the whole front of the car, only when accelerating. It's the worst around 25-45mph. -the shuddering is 2 or 3 times worse when engine is warm -shuddering stops when i let off the throttle -there are no suspension/axle...
