    lower intercooler hose broke

    the intercooler hose running along the engine block above the transmission (5spd) from the turbo to inter cooler broke on me today. i have struggled with this hose for some time replacing the o-ring seal that goes to the turbo. my question is "are there any aftermarket solutions?" i know...

    Pilger, sk, not on the forums much but i just picked up an ALH jetta project car for my wife hopefully and i need to refresh my knowledge on the mk4 cars. I use to put on close to 10k a month working on the railroad, but since im currently unemployed i dont drive terribly far anymore lol

    John Deere oil

    :( actually i am kind of a dummy, i scrolled down the page to see there is already a thready of it, im so embarrased :o , just read through 6 pages of the thread, might have to give it a try, i use to work at the dealer and can purchase it cheaper than the vw stuff.
