Best car you've owned, until the HPFP goes out and you're on the hook for a $4500+ bill for something they know is a faulty design. To anyone keeping their car, get the 2Micron kits! Small price to pay to save a huge repair bill down the line. It's not if, it's when.

If you keep it, treat it to a 2MirconTech Pure Flow and Contain Flow kit to save yourself a $4000-6000 repair bill when (not if) the HPFP blows. No way id own one of these cars without those kits now. No way, no how.

I'd keep mine if I didn't already have a HPFP failure and hadn't seen others with 2-3 failures. And with VW's lack of addressing that issue in a satisfactory way... that's the only thing that has soured me on this car.

The thing I'm going to miss is the accessibility to the car with vag com. Mazda has nothing of the sort that I've found.

ooooof. That DOES suck. So you either A) turn it in in operable and lose value of vehicle or B) pay most of the "restitution value" getting it fixed so you can get the vehicle value upon turn-in. Glad I parked my crap and glad I haven't risked removing my HPFP kits yet. Those fockers...
