I have a 1996 passat when I click to high beams all the head lights go out. I can get low beams to work with dash head light switch. If I turn the dash switch I can get the high beams to work. But never both high and low at the same time. Any ideas??

We have a 99.5 Jetta TDI. We have been getting a check engine, and I know the intake manafold has been getting plugged. I removed the manifold and it was plugged. It was cleaned out . Runs like new again. But after it starts and maybe 1 min. The check engine light comes back on. Will I have to...

My clutch pedal is almost on the floor. All most no movement. Transmission will not go into 1st gear while engine is running. Shifts ok from 2 to 5th? Any Ideas???!!! not previous clutch problems. But Allot of miles. Jerry

We own a 99.5 Jetta TDI with 170K miles. I have read that there is a high failure rate on Maf sensors. Is there a way to check the operation of a sensor? Simptoms of a failed maf sensor? Thanks

Does anyone have a recomdation for a battery for a 99.5 TDI Jetta? Not many companies make one for them. I have went through 3, VW batteries and they never last more than 2 years.:o

What year of TDI engines does the video cover? We own 2 TDIs a 1996 Passat and a 1999 jetta. I would be happy to purchase one. I just want to make sure it will cover my TDIs. Jerry/51:)

I am thinking about purchasing a new 2005 Jetta TDI 5 spd. We have owned 2 TDIs in the past.And loved them. Is there some problems with this newer TDI-PD engine?

The car has P195 60 14" tires on it. Can you put P195 65 14" tires on it? The 60's are getting kind of expensive.

Can you put p195-65-14 tires on a passat that has P195-60-14

I have a 1996 TDI passat. The tire size is P195-60x14. The question is could I go up to a P195-65x14 tire? Would there be any problems doing this?

Could some one tell me if a 96 Passat TDI should have the plastic engine cover, under the engine compartment. My wifes 99 Jetta TDI has one. Thank you
