Yes the place I took it to knows what they are doing and there was piston damage along with valves no longer connected to the camshaft.

Any codes? Could be your crank position sensor. It’ll sometimes throw a code and sometimes it won’t

Here’s a silly question for you. Have you cracked the injectors to make sure you have fuel getting to them?

I would also check the output of your alternator and make sure that it’s charging up your battery

I fixed my blend doors by covering them with furnace tape so I don’t ever have to do it again

Good evening everyone I haven’t posted a in awhile but I wanted to see if anyone has had to get to the blender door and replace the foam with heat tape ? I watched a video on it doesn’t look to bad just looking for any helpful hints on hidden bolts. Thank you.

Does your glow plug light, light up? Do you have a CEL? Do you have access to a VCDS?

Do like STDOIBT said go after the place that did the oil change and make them put a new engine in it

Where are you from? There’s a list of trusted tdi mechanics. Also your Ross tech scanner is the VCDS

I would try that first. I had that issue got the new sensor and it all stopped.
