This is what I call scare tactics. IMO

On my first oil change my VW Dealership ask me if I had AMSOIL for my Jetta willing to install it in my car. So IMO the scare tactics of some is unwarranted. Amsoil backs up there product any way.

I can assure you the HDD will not sheer the 7.3 is notoriously hard on shearing. I have close to 400 hp and have never had that show up on oil samples. The HDD is rated for 800 hp turboed gas racing. Anyway it is your engine good luck. Bill

I use both cetane boost & diesel concentrate and I get 50 miles per gallon easly. I use 2 oz each per tank. I don't use cold flow as it does not get that cold and I have a heated garage. Bill

Amsoil has the Audi ATF Audi G-052-025-A2 or G-052-162-A1 I really like our product but if it is unacceptable I will not risk it. As fare as I know it may already be rated G 052 182 A2 just has not been released yet.Thanks Bill

After reading the post one suggested using the VAG-COM is this absolutely necessary? Are you pushing out the old oil with new oil? I noticed the oil used was G 052 182 A2 would Audi G-052-025-A2 or G-052-162-A1 work? Thanks for your help/posts Bill

I am getting ready to do this job trany fluid change I am getting ready to do this job I am told, trans oil pan has a built in filter (must replace the pan) and the last time I checked this pan was about $250. If the fluid is clean, forgo this replacement. A little input please. Bill

I was trying to show adding or mixing can not be in the best interest. That being said topping off your oil with different oil is considered ok just for a short time. Bill
