I'm on the east coast visiting family and just saw this 2003 ALH wagon listed for sale in Wilmington DE. It's an automatic, and a little rough around the edges, but could be worse...

Hi TDI Club members:
I have a manual 2015 Golf for 9500. Owned by two TDIClub members since new

I was looking for a 2015 GSW last February and ran across this car. It was high mileage and a little rough around the edges, being...
I've been going back and forth between golfs, gsws and A3s for the past six years.
I've been driving VW diesels exclusively since 95. My first was a 1980 Rabbit, followed by a 1982 caddy, then a 97 Passat ALH wagon bought from Jay Benford, which I had for ten or twelve years (it resurfaced...
No idea, but it seems like a lot of Facebook reposts come out that way. I exchanged a few messages with the owner and he's already got a few folks lined up. If I lived in Massachusetts, I'd be in line as well!
This is from Facebook Marketplace.

It's not mine! If I could trade my 2015 Golf SE 6M for it, I would!

I was looking around at TDI's on Facebook and saw a beat looking 0ld 97 wagon. Some of the dents were eerily familiar. Turns out it used to be my car! I bought it from Jay Benford a million years ago, drove it for ten years myself, and did a partial trade for a 2003 tdi jetta wagon a few...
Does it matter whether the part is off a gas / diesel or Golf /Golf Sportwagen? The part numbers seem to be the same, and there looks like there are good prices on car-part.com
Thanks for the help, everybody! I'm looking for a good source for the part now, which is A/C Refrigerant Suction Hose Part Number: 5Q0820743G. Are these the same ones used on the gas MK7s? Looks like there are OEM/VW ones in the $300 range, but I also see some on partsgeek and amazon in the...
The previous owner hit a deer and had front end work done afterwards, maybe that's why it's cramped in there. But the car's been great since I got it 6 months ago. Super clean engine.
I'm pretty sure the line got cut from rubbing the edge of the radiator over the last couple thousand miles.
There's a few pictures over in the Golf media upload section, currently trying to figure out how to link them over here.
I wanted to appeal to the gathered wisdom here. I got my timing belt replaced two months ago, did a couple thousand miles of driving, now my a/c line has a hole in the bent rubber part in front of the engine. It's supposed to drop down between the radiator and the engine but was rubbing...
