Yes u have to pull back/down on the headliner and it is a PITA to replace the antenna. Try ebay, that's where I found an OEM for a great deal.

Sounds like the bulb is weak....I would replace it and see what happens. Then please don't forget to post your results and let us know if that fixed it.

+1 This is correct...I was T-Boned (my ribs still hurt) once and the tinted windows fractured as designed, but thankfully the tint kept the glass from flying all around inside the car.
