yeah yeah I know... am I serious? LOL. Yes I am. My new to me 2003 wagon with only 93K miles is soooooo nice I dont want to convert her just yet since it runs flawlessly
But.. it IS an automatic
Any suggestions on a malone tune?
Does it help enough or is it more a case of sorry, not much you can...
my new to me 2003 automatic with 93K miles SEEMS to run hotter as per the scanguage than my manual transmission cars do which are the same years. I believe that they have the same thermostat temp rating
Does the heat coming off of the automatic transmission contribute to this? On a hot day...
Yep did that and even removed the first O ring that i installed to make sure I didnt mess it up. It came out fine. 2nd time I triple checked, lubed it up really well and was super careful and verified in the groove. STILL LEAKS. ughh....
tried changing out the big o ring on the side with it in the car. Watched lots of videos. Its not hanging up or caught and I know its in the groove. Still leaks like a sieve from below. Its not the top two seals nor the little bolt in the back..
Matt Phelan says the method of stretching the o...
I hate them so much I now have 3! all 2003's. 1 sedan 5 speed. 1 wagon 5 speed and 1 93K mile wagon automatic for when I get old and cant shift anymore lol Silver White and Blue. LOVE them then and still do. Everything you could ask for in a car.
and if so, what is the easiest way? I would think to leave the over flow tank open with the level of coolant a little low to allow for expansion?
Thanks
Peter

I got another one and in the process of melding them together I noticed that two wires are the same color ( light tan ). The wires internally...
Where are those two screws and how do I get to see them? I wanna say its at the top of the cluster but i cant remember. As far is it being a nice car.. . Welll.... I dunno.. The car fax shows it being up in Bellingham WA around 2008.. so a small red flag.. Mileage at least is consistent on...
long ago, I learned a simple procedure that would quickly determine if the cluster has been tampered with or changed out on a 96-97 B4
Can anyone show me or tell me in detail what that entails again?
Much thanks
Peter
