^ That's definitely a fear of mine. I only have the LEDs running when the low-beams are on, so that reduces quite a bit of the hours on them. I have my fogs set as DRLs. OP, if you're worried about the LEDs failing, just order a set that doesn't have them.

It's the same look, but I'm not sure if whiplash willy's are OEM, VACAR, or DEPO. All three look pretty much the same, but the prices vary.

If you want the LED look, buy the DEPO's off this guy: http://www.golfmk6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42797 I'm running them and haven't had any issues.

Spend a little but more money and get the OEM LED reps made by VACAR or DEPO. Or you can always go the OEM route if you have the cash to spend.

An ECU tune or anything else for that matter will NOT void your warranty unless the tune/product you installed was the direct cause for a malfunction.
