Installed an amazon short shifter kit, easy to install with minor adjustment and feel really good, while I was in there I cleaned out the air box, snow screen and installed new filter and cleaned the MAF. I paid $45 for kit last year they are now $100 crazy with all the price increases.

Keep an eye on it when you close you should see if any flexing from either side.

These feel good so far, and I would say its normal closing pressure and $20 a piece on amazon works for me. Not familiar with the beetles, is the hatch metal on them?

Replaced the stock worn out lift struts on the wagon...big difference as it dont fall on my head anymore...front hood is next.

I will see if I notice the clutch pedal as you say, I have driven it but have not noticed anything. You will like them have them in 3 other vehicles with zero complaints.. Enjoy!

Sylvania Zevo Led bulbs are pretty decent I run them in my 17 f150 no adjustment and no scatter and 5 year warranty $129 Canadian a pair so not the cheapest but work well.

Finally installed in the weathertechs in the wagon, these are going to work great!
