Just call the claims line or chat session and see what they want. The ID, registration, and title (pink slip) that you uploaded to the claims portal should all have the same name on them. If the title is clean there should be no issue.
I got the email just a while ago to schedule my buyback appointment for my second 2.0. This came following an uploaded signed/notarized offer letter on May 4. So it's been almost 6 weeks. I'm not sure why it took so long. Good luck to everyone.
If you had a 2.0 uploaded offer after around May 4 that got approved and were able to schedule an appointment recently then that is good news. I thought maybe all salvage/rebuilt signed/notarized offers since around May 4 have been put on hold.
Yes, this situation of stalled uploaded offers has become very disheartening. I'm on hold on my 2.0 since May 4 when I uploaded. It's hard to believe this is just an administrative backlog.
Bizzle, all you do is practice uninformative, flowerly language. Per your previous posts you had always wished a negative outcome for those selling back salvage title cars. I'm done. Move on.
The below sounds familiar. It's a chat response to my question on issue with held signed/notarized/uploaded offer. Hopefully there isn't going to be another judicial review and decision on branded titles. I thought we're all done with that and moving on.
Thank you for your patience, again...
Bizzle and Mythdoc lack critical thought in the context of this VW settlement and seem to have an entitled sense of purpose in berating those selling back rebuilt vehicles.
Still waiting for signed/notarized uploaded offer document approval.
The words adversarial and customer have nothing to do with the settlement, spirit or letter. The words owner and eligible have everything to do with it. You don't get it.
The only requirement is it runs on its own power and you have the title to hand over. You had already uploaded registration from which they had decided on your eligibility. Your only risk is getting pulled over on way to turn-in if you don't have tags.
Just an update: The acknowledgement notary sheet was accepted. I was able to continue in the portal to schedule a buyback date.
On the 2nd car I received an offer on the notary wouldn't sign sheet 7, instead stamped it to read "notary signature on next sheet", and signed an acknowledgement...
If you got an offer you need to go here to find a supplemental form, if applicable. I was not told I would need this in addition to the offer form they sent for me to sign and notarize. In fact I didn't know I needed until after I chatted with the claims people. So, my initial notary fee is...
Yes, received only 7 of 8. Then after I uploaded everything with notary signature, notary name, county, and state I received a message back from the portal that I'm missing signature, notary name, county, and state. Brilliant.
Funny thing, my offer letter pdf that was made available to me yesterday to download from the claims portal is dated April 18, 2 weeks prior to me being able to view it.
