GQ is better for tuning because it has socketed chips, whereas BK are soldered to the board. The other thing that might be in question, is whether the new car has the GQ or BK. I wouldn't make any such assumptions about Mazilla tunes. I doubt they custom tuned anything for your specific...

His was 2, but in general i think you'll hear desired = 4. It really all depends on your car, and what IQ # makes it run to your satisfaction. Any number of factors, after 20 years, can make it need adjustment one way or the other.
