ah I see, I still don't understand (probably because I'm no mechanic! lol ) why that could be a problem as the brakes have been fine, but I will most definitely try that tomorrow - rear left rear right passenger then driver? is that the process?

Yes, but would that mean that when i moved the gear stick to neutral and let the clutch pedal stay up - it stayed in gear?

ave you seen the log i posted, it doesnt show i have a boost leak?
or is the intercooler piping diff?
also, how do i check the timing?
i followed the tdi timing revisited thread but my car engine ASZ isnt in the dropdown box.
