    mine will go away when warmed up. so no worries. i also spoke with marin today about this (taking my car to him one day this week for the TB change) he said that it is normal and if it goes away when warmed up then no worries. so for now i am not going to worry about it.

    to the OP. that 5101 is a good unit. if u plan on it working your door locks too you are going to need to get a DLPK module for them to work right without havint to wire in alot of relays. also if u use it you will have to use a 556U module and donate a key (usually the valet key works good)...

    from what u are describing it definatly sounds like the DMF. i did research on this site to figure out that mine was on its way out. it was making noise from the time i bought the car (66000 miles) till i got it changed (79000 miles). i do not recommend waiting that long to get it fixed...

    ya he is going to do the Vag-com for me, so that i can work windows from key fob, door locks reprogram, sun roof close on lock, DRL turned off, door lock settings etc. and anything else that i am not aware of im sure he will let me know. very knowledgable guy!
