Got my second check for the second TDI today. Same setup as the one below. Guess that wraps up all my TDI stuff... kinda sad, sometimes I wonder why I sold them back.

Received my Bosch payment today. Car was a 2015 Golf TDI owned/financed from VW, did the buyback in February. Check from Bosch today for $350. Hopefully I'll get the one for my 2015 Jetta TDI (same ownership/finance and dates) in the next few days. Didn't require anything else from me claim...

My wife and I caved and are selling back our 15 Jetta TDI and 15 Golf TDI. She just doesn't drive her car enough to warrant a diesel, in fact it struggles to reach normal temp with as little as she drives. For me and my golf it was the lack of everything. No heated seats, the vent selector...

If you can wait, there willprobably be a surplus of seats in the junk yards from all the unfixable TDIs...maybe

There are no open ports under the seat. Really wanting to add heated seats too.

VCP, not VCDS can do it. Don't recommend videos, but you can mirror phone displays for Google maps and stuff. The iPhone 4S and below work great using the maroon 30 pin MDI cable, the 5 and higher can be done with RCA-MDI and lightning to HDMI then HDMI to RCA. Ben

Thanks for the info, that seems about right with the quote I received from a dealer yesterday. They didn't mention anything about the passenger seat though, I wonder if they have a work around for this now? I will ask them on Monday and keep you updated. Thanks, Ben

Perhaps now is the time to ask VW again given their current situation. I'd be 100% happy with an emissions fix and a CarPlay upgrade for my 15' TDI Golf Ben
