Just purchased a 2011! Traded in my 2005 with 214K miles. I was getting 48. First fill-up on the 2011 was around 40. Getting much better now that I'm driving like an old lady! Oh and I drive 150 miles per day, all highway.

I've been using Quaker State Diesel Plus Synthetic Blend. I buy it from my dealer cause no one around here sells it and its less thatn $7 a quart. The price is great compared to the Castrol and other products sold at the local auto stores.

I learned the hard way, burning Jet A in my Diesel Rabbit years ago. If I would have to added 2 stroke oil and the right amount it still might be running. Anyway, I did burn Jet A on and off for a year. Saved a lot of $$ and the Rabbit ran great!
