60k miles on my 02 tdi and FIP died. my local guy said the local dealer (boulder dealer - plenty of folks running B20 or B100 here) had 4 of these $1300 parts on the shelf and yet a dealer in another part of the state had none (a part of the state where there are less folks apt to try or bother...

just an FYI, I scraped off and cleaned out my snowscreen and it runs with more umph! I don't wanna get rid of it completely though as it had stuff on it that would have gotten to my K&N, I like the pre-filtering... it certainly filters more than snow
